Alliance @ Lancashire & Yorkshire Bank
You may remember it as a bank, you may remember it as an Indian Restaurant, but Valley Heritage have transformed the former Lancashire & Yorkshire Bank on Market Street and Union Street into Alliance. It’s such an iconic building, and we’re delighted it’s back open and making a positive contribution to the beautiful town centre of Bacup.
Valley Heritage have developed a solution for the building that provides, we believe, multiple benefits to the local community. The building contains 4 flats; 2 are available for rent, and 2 are available to support young people at risk of homelessness, in partnership with M3 Project based in Rawtenstall.
The main space in the building, is a co-working space for local independent businesspeople and entrepreneurs. We know that Rossendale is full of creative and driven people with big ideas. We want to provide a space for people to establish and grow their businesses within the Valley, and to help create a sense of community.
