Ian is a consultant with over thirty years’ experience, operating in the SME (small, medium sized enterprises) and Community/Voluntary sectors. His specialisms include organisational development, business planning and fundraising, holding full membership of the Institute of Fundraisers.
He has worked both in a consultancy capacity and as an employee with/for companies and organisations to support management requirements to secure and manage contracts and implement fundraising campaigns to support capital and revenue needs.
Currently he is CEO and MD of BaSE, a social enterprise located within Bacup, Rossendale and having an interest in local heritage has worked with the team to develop the project to date.
Ian holds an HND in Business Studies and the Diploma in Industrial Management. Previous posts held include the Chairman of the East Leeds branch of the Federation of Small Business and Prince of Wales Business Trust advisor. He is currently a registered Business Mentor with West Yorkshire Enterprise Agency and works with clients applying for New Enterprise Allowance.
